Public Transport Services
Christchurch has a well-developed public transport system that runs seventeen hours a day, between the hours of 6.00am and 11.00pm (approximate, dependent on specific service). The city has a free inner city shuttle service and minimum charge services to the suburbs. There are a number of taxi companies operating in the city, offering a relatively inexpensive means of travel around Christchurch, twenty-four hours a day.
